It is with a heavy heart and disappointment we are announcing the cancellation of the 2021 Dragon Boat season in Calgary. This includes the Calgary Dragon Boat Festival and all practices.
We do not believe we will be able to ensure the health and safety of spectators and participants if we were to proceed with the event. Although difficult, this is the right decision as the health and safety of all Calgarians must take priority.
We will be using this down time to do some much needed maintenance on our fleet so that we are up and ready to roll for the 2022 season!
We would like to thank all the volunteers, and supporters who have helped make dragon boating in Calgary possible.
