

As Calgary’s premier water sport festival, the Calgary Dragon Boat Race & Festival draws +1850 competitors, +4000 spectators and an abundance of excitement and cultural experiences. Every year, the Calgary Dragon Boat Society (CDBS) organizes Dragon Boat Race & Festival at North Glenmore Park to showcase culture and dragon boat racing in a family-friendly environment.
The Calgary Dragon Boat Society will enter the 31th year of Dragon Boating in the community and today is one of Calgary’s “best family friendly outdoor festivals around”!!!

The Calgary Dragon Boat Race & Festival is geared towards creating an unforgettable experience. The dragon boat competition illustrates comradery, teamwork and inspiration. Stemmed by a 2000-year-old Chinese legend, Dragon Boat Racing is still very active and remains a tradition to this day.
