Putting the Dragon Boats to sleep! Thanks to all our volunteers for helping!

It was an idyllic Saturday Fall afternoon when our zealous members sadly put our fleet of dragon boats to sleep for the Winter. Huge thanks to Boat Patrol and Conrad Buzogan for towing/steering our boats over to Heritage Park, and the mighty contingent of volunteers from various club teams who showed up to lend some elbow grease and muscle get them washed and loaded onto our trailers and into storage, tucked safely for our off season. Sleep well dragons, we will eagerly await a Spring awakening! Until then, on behalf of the Calgary Dragon Boat Society, we wish to thank everyone for making this return season one for the books. Stay tuned for confirmation of our 2023 Festival dates as we begin planning for next year!
