Festival Parking and Free Shuttle Service

Where to Park for the Festival

There is no public parking available at North Glenmore Park during the festival on Saturday, August 8 and Sunday, August 9, 2026.

Festival participants, volunteers and spectators must use one of the designated festival shuttle access points:

  • Mount Royal University
  • Anderson Station — New for 2026

Free festival shuttle buses will transport attendees to and from the festival site at North Glenmore Park.

New for 2026: Anderson Station Shuttle Connection

Festival attendees now have another convenient way to reach the festival.

Travel to Calgary Transit’s Anderson Station by CTrain or bus and connect with a free festival shuttle to North Glenmore Park. Attendees may also use the Anderson Station Park and Ride and board the festival shuttle from the designated pickup area.

Parking is subject to availability and Calgary Transit parking regulations. Please follow the festival signs and directions from volunteers when you arrive.

This new access point is especially convenient for attendees travelling from south Calgary or connecting through Calgary Transit’s Red Line.

Festival Parking at Mount Royal University

Free shuttle buses will operate between Mount Royal University and the festival site approximately every eight minutes, from 6:50 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

Park at Mount Royal University, proceed to the designated shuttle pickup area and ride directly to the festival entrance.

Free festival parking continues to be available at:

  • Lot A — 326 stalls
  • Lot B — 377 stalls
  • East Gate Parkade — 1,175 stalls

Free Festival Shuttle Service

Shuttle transportation between the designated access points and the festival site is free.

Please allow additional travel time during busy periods, particularly early in the morning before racing begins and near the end of each festival day.

Important Shuttle Information

  • Pets are not permitted on festival shuttle buses, except qualified service animals.
  • Please follow the directions of shuttle drivers, volunteers and onsite signage.
  • Children must remain with a parent, guardian or responsible adult.
  • Take all personal belongings with you when leaving the shuttle.

No Public Parking at North Glenmore Park

Parking in and around North Glenmore Park is strictly restricted during the festival. This keeps the festival grounds safe for pedestrians and maintains access for emergency and authorized vehicles.

Parking enforcement officers will be onsite throughout the weekend.

  • Do not park on the grass.
  • Do not park in restricted or unauthorized areas.
  • Illegally parked vehicles may be ticketed or towed.

Each registered race team will receive one Team Drop-off Pass to temporarily deliver tents, equipment and team provisions. The pass is for drop-off only and does not provide parking at the festival site.

After unloading, the vehicle must leave North Glenmore Park and proceed to one of the designated festival parking or shuttle access points.

Bicycle Parking at the Festival

Bicycle racks will be available at the festival site for attendees arriving by bike.

Please bring a secure bicycle lock. Bicycles must be parked in the designated bicycle parking area and must not block walkways, emergency routes or festival entrances.

Plan Your Trip

Choose the option that works best for you:

Take Calgary Transit to Anderson Station and connect with the free festival shuttle, park at Anderson Station and ride the shuttle, or park free at Mount Royal University and take the shuttle directly to the festival entrance.

Please plan ahead, arrive early and allow extra time to reach the festival site.
