Quick Tips for Paddlers

  • Expect to get wet: Wear moisture-wicking clothes (avoid denim or cotton).
  • Footwear: Water shoes or sport sandals (like Tevas or Keens) are your best bet.
  • Gear: Most clubs provide the life jacket (PFD) and paddle for beginners, so you don’t need to buy equipment right away.
