🐉🥁 IT’S FESTIVAL DAY, CALGARY!

The drums are beating, the boats are on the water and the 2026 Sinopec Calgary Dragon Boat Race & Festival is officially underway!

Today, 68 teams will bring speed, teamwork and incredible energy to North Glenmore Park.

Come join us for:

🐉 Dragon Boat Eye-Dotting Ceremony (7:45am)
🚣 Exciting racing throughout the day
🌸 Breast Cancer Survivor Race
🌸 Pink Flower Ceremony
🦁 Opening Ceremonies and dragon and lion dances
🎶 Live cultural entertainment
🍜 Food trucks
🛍️ Dragon Marketplace
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Trico Homes Kids’ Play Zone
🍺 Family-friendly Beer Gardens

The festival site is full of activity, and there is something happening throughout the day.

Bring your family, invite your friends and come cheer for the teams from the shoreline!

🚫 No public parking is available inside North Glenmore Park.

🚌 Take the free shuttle from Mount Royal University or Anderson Station.
