At the Calgary Dragon Boat Race & Festival, we’re committed to creating fun, vibrant, and unforgettable experiences for families and visitors of all ages. As part of this mission, we’re excited to invite you to the Dragon Kids Zone — a free, family-friendly area filled with activities that spark imagination, creativity, and joy.

Children can enjoy hands-on crafts, playful games, and interactive experiences designed to keep them entertained throughout the day. From face painting and sweet treats to outdoor play spaces and fun surprises, the Dragon Kids Zone is the perfect place for young festival-goers to laugh, learn, and explore.

This year, a dedicated team of volunteers from Diversecities will be onsite to help create a safe and welcoming atmosphere for all families.
