It is with a heavy heart that we are announcing the cancellation of the 2020 Dragon Boat season in Calgary. This includes the Calgary Dragon Boat Festival and all practices.

The decision is in compliance with the Province’s recent announcement continuing the ban on public gatherings through to the end of August. Although difficult, this is the right decision as the health and safety of all Calgarians must take priority.

Thank you to those of you who have already registered for the festival and paid fees. Refunds will be paid by cheque and will be sent out shortly.

We would like to thank all the volunteers, and supporters who have helped make dragon boating in Calgary possible.

We will be using this down time to do some much needed maintenance on our fleet so that we are up and ready to roll for the 2021 season!
