MONDAY, AUGUST 10 — THANK YOU, CALGARY

❤️🐉 What an Incredible Festival Weekend!

The boats are back on shore and the drums may be quiet today—but the excitement, friendships and memories created this weekend will stay with us.

Thank you to every person who helped make the 2026 Sinopec Calgary Dragon Boat Race & Festival possible.

Thank you to:

🚣 Our paddlers, drummers and steerspeople
🙌 Our incredible volunteers
🏁 Our race officials and safety crews
🤝 Our sponsors, partners and community supporters
🍜 Our food trucks and marketplace merchants
🎶 Our performers and cultural organizations
🚌 Our shuttle and transportation teams
📸 Our media, photographers and storytellers
👏 Every spectator who cheered from the shoreline

A festival of this size only happens when hundreds of people bring their time, talent, energy and passion together.

Most of all, thank you to Calgary for showing up, cheering loudly and helping us create such a welcoming celebration of sport, culture and community.

We are already looking forward to sharing race results, photos, videos and more festival memories with you.

From everyone at the Calgary Dragon Boat Society:

Thank you, Calgary—and Paddles Up!
