Discover the Thrill of Dragon Boating Join Us on Saturdays, 1:00pm – 3:00pm Ever gazed at the North Glenmore Reservoir’s majestic canoes and felt the urge to be part of that excitement? Or perhaps you’ve heard the buzz about Dragon Boat racing and wondered if you could be a part of it?
Dragon Boating: A Sport for Everyone Dragon boating is a sport that embraces all. No matter your age or fitness level, you’re guaranteed to enjoy the spirit of teamwork and the joy of friendship.
What to Expect:
- 30 mins dry land training covering the basics of dragon boat paddling, safety precautions, and emergency procedures.
- 60-90 mins on-water practice in the dragon boat
- Equipment (boat, life jackets, paddles) will be provided
- Please bring water, and wear clothing and footwear
- Bring change of clothing
