Hello,

As we all watch the news on the COVID-19 Pandemic unfold locally, nationally and globally – our hearts go out to all families, friends or paddlers who may have been affected one way or another…

We are all wondering what our dragon boat season is going to look like.  At this point in time, CDBS is optimistic that the Calgary Dragon Boat Festival will continue as planned for August 7,8 & 9 2020.  The Dragon Marketplace is accepting vendor application and Teams can still register for the festival or practice to give you updates if anything changes.

However, practices will not likely to commence the first week of May.  We are monitoring the situation, keeping in touch with the City and will keep everyone informed as to when the season will start.

CDBS will be hosting an Advance Paddling Camp scheduled for May 29th – 31st.  As of yet, we are unsure whether or not we will be going ahead with the camp, but we will update you as soon as we know more.

We will give you updates if anything changes from the City of Calgary, Alberta Health Services, Federal Services.
